🎵 Welcome to Tempest

Tempest is an advanced 3D music player with real-time audio visualization. Experience your music like never before with stunning visual effects synchronized to the rhythm and frequencies of your audio.

🚀 Getting Started

Loading Music

1. Click the Settings button (⚙️ top-right)
2. Click "Load Music Files"
3. Select one or multiple audio files from your computer
4. Or use the Queue button (🎵 top-left) → "Add Music to Queue"

Drag & Drop: You can also drag audio files directly onto the window!

⏯️ Playback Controls

• Play/Pause: Large center button
• Previous/Next Track: Buttons on either side of play button
• Progress Bar: Click anywhere to seek
• Volume: Bottom-right control (hover to show slider)

🎵 Music Library

Access web radio stations and manage your local music queue from one unified panel!

1. Click the Music Library button (📻 red button, top-left)
2. Choose between two tabs:
   • Web Radio: Stream live radio stations (default)
   • Local Queue: Manage your local music files

📻 Web Radio Tab

Listen to live radio stations from around the world with full 3D visualization!

1. Open Music Library → Web Radio tab (opens by default)
2. Browse verified, working stations by genre and country
3. Click any station to start streaming
4. Click "Stop Radio & Return to Playlist" to go back to your music

Available Stations:

• International: Swiss Jazz, SomaFM Groove Salad, Radio Paradise, NTS Radio
• Italian: RAI Radio 1/2/3, Radio 105, Radio Animati

📑 Local Queue Tab

Open Music Library → Local Queue tab to manage your local music files:

• Auto-play next track: Automatically play the next song
• Shuffle: Randomize playback order
• Repeat Mode: Off / Repeat All / Repeat One
• Click a track to play it immediately
• Remove tracks by clicking the ✕ button (hover over track)
• Clear Queue: Remove all tracks at once

🎨 Visualization Settings

Click the Settings button (⚙️) to customize your visual experience:

Visualization Types:

• 3D Spectrum: Classic 3D frequency bars
• Waveform: Smooth audio waveform display
• Particles: Dynamic particle system
• Now Playing Mode: Minimal ambient particles with large now playing display (perfect for web radio)
• Auto Rotate: Automatically switches between visualizations every 60 seconds

Color Themes:

• Frequency: Warm-to-cold gradient based on frequency
• Rainbow: Full spectrum colors
• Fire: Hot reds and oranges
• Ocean: Cool blues and teals
• Purple Dream: Purple and pink hues
• Neon: Bright neon colors

Other Settings:

• Sensitivity: Control how reactive the visuals are (50-200%)
• Auto Rotate: Automatically rotate the 3D scene
• Bloom Effect: Add glowing bloom effect

✨ Visual Effects

Toggle individual effects on/off in the Settings panel:

• Star Field (Warp Speed): Fast-moving stars in the background
• Background Particles: Floating ambient particles
• Ambient Sphere: Central glowing sphere
• Light Orbs: Pulsing light orbs
• Energy Lines: Flowing spiral energy lines synchronized to music rhythm

⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts

• Spacebar: Play/Pause
• F: Toggle fullscreen
• Mouse movement: Show/hide UI overlay (auto-hides after 3 seconds of inactivity)

🖥️ Fullscreen Mode

Click the Fullscreen button (⛶ top-right) to enter immersive fullscreen mode. Press ESC or click the button again to exit.

📱 Mobile Usage

• Touch controls: All buttons are optimized for touch interaction
• Scrollable panels: Swipe to scroll through settings, queue, and radio stations
• Auto-hide UI: Tap the screen to show/hide controls
• Safe areas: UI elements avoid notches and rounded corners

💡 Tips & Tricks

• Try different visualization types with different music genres!
• Increase sensitivity for more reactive visuals with quieter tracks
• Disable effects individually to improve performance on older devices
• Radio streams work with all the same visual effects as local files
• Energy lines look amazing with electronic music and strong bass
• The UI auto-hides during playback for an immersive experience
