What Was Movie Mania!
Movie Mania! was born as a personal project with a precise goal: to create a tool for cataloguing and managing a film library automatically and pleasantly. The concept was simple but effective — choose a folder, Movie Mania! scans it, automatically finds covers and information for each film from the web, and builds your personal library in just a few minutes.

The Technology Behind It
Movie Mania! was built on the web APIs of The Movie Database (TMDb), free for commercial and private use. TMDb is one of the most complete and up-to-date film databases, with information on millions of films in dozens of languages.
This first version was the starting point of a development path that led to the Windows Store and Android versions, with increasingly advanced features. An indie project that taught a great deal — from cross-platform development to publishing on commercial stores.
