For some time now, in my free moments, I’ve been playing this super engaging card game created by former Hearthstone game producer Ben Brode. Ben left the Blizzard team and launched this new project published by Nuverse and developed by Second Dinner — with a winning move: the license for the immense Marvel universe.
What Is Marvel SNAP?

The result? A wild and fun card game where Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange and all the other characters and heroes — even the most obscure — clash straight out of the pages of the House of Ideas. Add to this an immediately intuitive gameplay that allows matches in just a few minutes, with the constant discovery of new cards as you progress through the game.
The Economic Model That Works
No less important is the fact that it is, at least for now, a game genuinely accessible to everyone and NOT tied to mandatory card or upgrade purchases. The game is sustained solely through the completely optional purchase of cosmetic upgrades for your avatars and cards — so-called “Variants” — which don’t change gameplay dynamics in any way.
This last factor is probably the most important today, given that many competing games now effectively force you to buy expansions to stay competitive. With Marvel SNAP, the only way to discover new cards is to keep playing. Can they maintain this model? Let’s hope so!
Game Awards 2022: Best Mobile Game
Just a few days ago came the victory at the Game Awards 2022 as the best Mobile game of the year. A prize I believe is thoroughly deserved. For all Marvel universe fans, this SNAP has certainly been a wonderful surprise.

You’ll find it on all stores and in my opinion it’s not to be missed! Now I’ll leave you — I have my new deck based on the “destruction” mechanic, with Venom and Carnage, to finish setting up before the next match…
